NATIONAL - ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - 2022-23

Sandip University offers an abundance of programmes to international students both in undergraduate and postgraduate streams.

UG - B. Tech, (UG-Lateral Entry)

Passed Minimum Three years/Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in Any branch of Engineering and Technology.
OR
Passed B.Sc Degree from recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
OR
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics,Physics,Engineering drawing etc, for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme) Refer table 1.10 of Appendix-1

UG - B. Tech

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship as per table1.3(a) Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together
OR
Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme).

PG M.Tech

M.Tech Civil Engineering With Specialization in a) Construction Management b) Environmental Engineering c) Structural Engineering d) Town and Country Planning e) Transportation Engineering & Planning

Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
OR
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

M.Tech Civil Engineering With Specialization in M. Tech Valuation - (Civil) Land & Building

Passed in B.E / B.Tech Civil/ B.Arch or Equivalent Or 5 year’s experience as a Valuer with B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production/Industrial/Chemical or equivalent.

M.Tech Civil Engineering With Specialization in M. Tech Valuation - (Civil) Land & Building including Agricultural Land

Passed in B.E / B.Tech Civil/ B.Arch or equivalent and the candidate should have at least 5 years experience as Valuer with degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

M.Tech Civil Engineering With Specialization in M. Tech Valuation - (Civil) Plant & Machinary

Passed Bachelor’s Degree in B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Eletcrical/Chemical, Automobile or equivalent or the candidate should have at least 5 years experience as Valuer with degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

M.Tech - Aerospace Engineering

Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

M.Tech - Defence Technology

Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

B.Sc. AI, ML & VR

  • H.Sc.(10+2) level examination in Science with Mathematics from any recognized Board / Council with minimum 45% marks for general (open) category and 40% marks for students of reserved category.

BCA

Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent Examination with 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per maharashtra state government rules) and English as one of the Subjects.
OR
Three year Diploma Course (after S.S.C.) OR Two year Diploma Courses in Pharmacy (after H.S.C.) OR Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination with 45% marks and any Vocational subject at (10+2) level.

B. Tech CS with specialization in Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

  • Passed 10+2 with minimum 50% of marks from science stream having maths as a special subject or 3 years diploma from any recognized university in relevant specialization can be considered .

MCA

  • Passed BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science) / B.sc IT / B.E (CSE)/ B.Tech CSE / B.E (IT) / B.Tech IT or equivalent degree. Or Passed any graduation degree (e.g: B.E / B.Tech/ B.sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B.Voc./ etc) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level , Obtaining at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination. (for students having no Mathematics background compulsory bridge course will be framed by the respective university / Institution and additional bridge courses related to computer subjects as per the norms of the concerned University.)

B. Tech. Computer Science & Engineering - With Specialization in a) Cloud Technology and Information Security, b) Cyber Security and Forensic c) Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship as per table1.3(a) Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together
OR

School of Computer Sciences & Engineering (Ug-lateral Entry)

Passed Minimum Three years/Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in Any branch of Engineering and Technology.
OR
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
OR

M. Tech. Computer Science & Engineering - With Specialization in a) Cloud Technology and Information Security

  • Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
    OR
    Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

Specialization in PG Diploma in Advanced Cloud Computing

  • Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination

Bachelor Of Design In User Experience(B. Des - UX)

  • Passed 10+2 examination. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

Master Of Design In User Experience (M. Des - UX)

  • Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 4 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

BBA / BBA (HONS)

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent course in any discipline from recognized Board/ Council/ University with minimum 45% marks for general (open) category and 40% marks for reserved category

MBA

  • Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

B.Com (with Tally Certification)

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board / Council / University with minimum 45% marks for general (open) category and 40% marks for students of reserve class category.

D. Pharm

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject.

B. Pharm

  • 10 + 2 /Equivalent examination with Physics & Chemistry as a compulsory subject along with one of the subject Mathematics/Biology and obtained minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for reserve class category.

B.A.LLB or B.A.LLB (HONS)

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent course in any discipline from recognized Board/ Council/ University with minimum 45% marks for general (open) category and 42% marks for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST category

LLB (HONS)

  • Passed Bachelor Degree minimum three years duration in any discipline from recognized University with minimum 45% marks for general (open) category and 42% marks for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST category

SCHOOL OF LAW (PG) - LL.M (CRIMINAL LAW) / (CONSTITUTIONAL & ADMINISTRATIVE LAW) / (CORPORATE & COMMERCIAL LAW)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law with from any recognized institute under BCI rules, 50% of Marks for Open and OBC, For SC and ST 45%. AND Bachelor's Degree in Law with from any recognized institute under BCI rules, 50% of Marks for Open and OBC, For SC and ST 45%. Candidate must appear in SUN PG/PG CLAT/PG SLAT.

B.Sc (Microbiology)

  • Passed 10+2 science or equivalent course from any recognized Board with minimum 45% marks for open and 40% marks for backward category students OR Three years Diploma from any recognized Board of Technical Education or its equivalent

B.Sc. Forensic Science

  • Passed 10+2 science or equivalent course from any recognized Board with minimum 45% marks for open and 40% marks for backward category students ORThree years Diploma from any recognized Board of Technical Education or its equivalent

M.Sc.(Chemistry (Drug / Organic / Analytical), Microbiology, Physics, Life Science, Mathematics)

  • Graduation from respective stream or equivalent course with minimum 50% marks for open and 45% marks forreserved category students

M.Sc. Biotechnology

  • Graduation (B.Sc. in Biotechnology/ B.Sc. Agriculture Biotechnology/ B.Sc. Animal Biotechnology) from respective stream or equivalent course with minimum 50% marks for open and 45% marks for reserved category students.

B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) in Fashion Design

  • Passed in 10+2 examination (Pre-University Board Examination) that is recognized by any State Board/ Central Board (with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. OR Passed 10th + Diploma in Fashion/Apparel Design/ Garment Making from an institute/ college recognized under Board of Technical Education /AICTE (with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) in Beauty & Cosmetology

  • Passed in 10+2 examination (Pre - University Board Examination) that is recognized by any State Board/ Central Board (with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. OR Passed 10th + Diploma in Fashion/Apparel Design/ Garment Making from an institute/ college recognized under Board of Technical Education /AICTE (with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

B.F.Tech (Bachelor of Fashion Technology) in Fashion Technology

  • Passed 10+2 examination. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) in Interior Design

  • Passed (10+ 2) or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized board.
    Passed 10th + Diploma in Interior Design from an institute/ college recognized under Board of Technical Education /AICTE.

B.Des (Bachelor of Design) in Space and Interior Design

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent course in any discipline from recognized Board/ Council/ University with a minimum 45% marks for general (open) category and 40% marks for reserved category.

B.Des (Bachelor of Design) in fashion and lifestyle Design

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent course in any discipline from recognized Board/ Council/ University with a minimum of 50% marks for general (open) category and 40% marks for reserved category.

M.Sc. in Cosmetic Science

  • Graduation from Science stream or equivalent professional (eg Engineering ,Pharmacy etc.) course in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students from reserve category.
